Charging Time = Energy Required ÷ (Charger Power × Efficiency). Energy Required = Battery × (Target% - Current%) / 100. For example: 40 kWh × 60% = 24 kWh. With a 7.2 kW AC charger at 90% efficiency: 24 ÷ (7.2 × 0.90) = ~3.7 hours.
